Kea Da Strakal Brulu

Kea Da Strakal Brulu

Description

The Kea Da Strakal Brulu is a versatile transistor germanium fuzz box in an eurorack panel. Specifications are the same (ie input/output levels, impedances) as a boutique germanium fuzz pedal. The module is intended to be used with a guitar input, but can work with line levels too. Or can choose to use a VCA, or an attenuator before or after for more control over the tone and gain.

  • Selected NOS AC 128/125/1256 germanium transistors
  • Rare NOS French Knob
  • Eurorack Standard supply, red facing down
  • Hand-wired, Boutique quality, Made in Plougastel.
  • 10 only ! Numbered limited edition
  • Stupid Breton name

Sound examples :

From D/A A/D from the Muffwiggler Forum (hey Thanks agin Alex !)

2 similar pitched triangle waves FM'ing each other, with the fuzz being faded in and out through a VCA at its input... All kinds of knob tweekage.

Another : some filthy dubstep this time....

Raw waves from the Uncle Osc. Faded into the fuzz, gain maxed then pulled back. Triangle, Square, Saw then Sine.

Strakal Brulu just going through the vocal waves on the miniwave - adjusting the gain continuously.

Plug in and ou

Operation :

Plug in and out, respect polarity supply, ( RED IS -12, like eurorack standard
red should be down) set gain as needed.
Different sounds can be achieved with the instrument's knob.
