Distresañ uses Baxandall shelving filters, known for their smooth and musical response. These filters allow for boosting or cutting of frequencies below (bass) or above (treble) certain points, then you can also add or remove medium frequencies (fixed at 1kHz). This EQ is particularly effective for overall tonal shaping and balance adjustments, rather than surgical frequency corrections. This type of equalisers is known for its natural-sounding and smooth frequency response, similar to the tone controls found in hi-fi systems. These equalizers are often praised for their ability to shape sound without introducing unwanted artifacts or distortion.This EQ is suitable for various applications including, tone shaping, mixing, mastering, and live sound reinforcement.

The Touellskouarn “Sil Kontrollet” eurorack module is a LowPass voltage-controlled filter (VCF)  The filter is a 12dB per octave low-pass filter that can be self-oscillated, this way it can produce a sine wave with V/Oct tracking capability. This filter has a unique and distinctive sound, characterized by its aggressive resonance and its ability to self-oscillate. Cutoff can be cv controlled. The module is 6HP wide and is made with quality components such as Nichicon/Panasonic caps and alpha pots.

Possible applications of the Jedoniañ are using a Hz/V synth as a CV keyboard for your Eurorack or vice versa, conversion of voltages from a 1V/oct MIDI/CV interface to the Hz/V characteristic and so on.
The upper section converts from 1V/octave to Hz/V and V-Trig to S-Trig. The bottom unit converts from Hz/V to 1V/octve and S-Trig to V-Trig.

For correct adjustment between both units tune them to the same initial frequency which is done with the Jedoniañ’s Frekañs potentiometer. Then play two, or better three, octaves higher and adjust the spread with the Ledander control. Then repeat the procedure one or two more times until the setting is perfectt and that’s it.
